Radial Coronary Angiography
Detailed coronary imaging through the wrist — safe, fast, and comfortable.
Overview
Radial coronary angiography visualizes the coronary arteries to detect narrowing or blockage. Access through the radial artery at the wrist is preferred for its low bleeding risk, immediate ambulation, and patient comfort, and often proceeds directly to angioplasty when indicated.
Procedure Details
- Wrist (radial) access for reduced vascular complications.
- High-resolution selective coronary imaging in multiple views.
- Pressure-wire and intravascular imaging available for functional assessment.
- Day-care procedure with prompt discharge.
Who It Is Recommended For
- Evaluation of unexplained chest pain or suspected coronary disease.
- Pre-operative cardiac risk assessment.
- Follow-up after stenting or bypass surgery.
- Assessment of heart failure of uncertain cause.
